Spring cleaning around our beautiful city!
Grab your friends and family and head out together into the bright sunshine to clear up a long winter's worth of litter in our parks and on our streets.
The fun starts at 9:00 AM with kick-off at our Senior/Community Center Downtown. We'll sign you in, equip you with trash bags, bright vests, gloves and pick-up tools, and, if you want, assign you a spot that needs your attention.
Then out you go!
Clean it up and come back to the Community Center between noon and 2:00 PM to return your equipment and place your filled bags in the special dumpsters that our beautiful city provides. Then stick around for a Great American Brown Bag Lunch and, if you're lucky, some cake to celebrate First Lady Anne Cole's birthday! We hope you'll join us for a great community event for our great community: The Great American Cleanup!
