Volunteer with Chinook Horses for our annual Kentucky Derby Family Fun Day on Saturday, May 6th, 2023! This fun event will be in-person at White Aspen Ranch in Billings, Montana.
We have multiple volunteer opportunities available for Kentucky Derby Family Fun Day! The event runs from 12-4pm for guests, but we have opportunities available before, during, and after the event to accommodate your schedule! Choose an activity area based upon your skill or interest in the activity:
- Serving lunch (10:30am-2:30pm): 3 volunteers needed
- Monitoring horse poop bingo game (11:00am-3:30pm): 2 volunteers needed
- Live auction support (1:30pm-3:30pm): 2 volunteers needed
- Silent auction support (12:00pm-3:00pm): 2 volunteers needed
- Hobby horse races support (11:30am-3:30pm): 2 volunteers needed
- Setting up the event (9:00am-12:00pm): 4 volunteers needed
- Breaking down the event (4:00pm-5:00pm): 4 volunteers needed
- Check in table support (12:00pm-4:00pm): 3 volunteers needed
In exchange for 3-4 hours of your time, you will be provided a free meal and the chance to view the Kentucky Derby during our event!
Currently, we do not have any opportunities to volunteer directly with the horses available for this event. Therefore, no experience with horses is required to volunteer.
