Each year, the National Association of Letter Carriers sponsors the nation-wide Stamp Out Hunger food drive. Letter carriers deliver donation envelopes and information to all residents on their route the week before the event (May 13th, 2023). On event day, they pick up bags of non-perishable food left out by residents and donate them to a local food bank. Family Service is their chosen recipient in the Billings area.
To show appreciation for their above-and-beyond effort, we make up goodie bags for the approximately 150 local mail carriers and distribute them to each post office the day before the event. We're looking for volunteers to put the items into the bags and seal them here at our facility. We will deliver them to the post offices.
You'll be standing, but there's no lifting or carrying involved. The project will take place indoors.
