Overview:
Event Buddies play an essential role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for attendees. Volunteers assist with event setup, guest check-in, activity support, and cleanup to ensure everything runs smoothly. This position is ideal for friendly, reliable individuals who enjoy working as part of a team and supporting a great cause.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with event setup and decorations before the event begins
- Greet guests and provide directions or event information
- Help manage activity or raffle tables, food stations, or games
- Support staff during the event by running small errands or filling in where needed
- Participate in event cleanup and teardown after the event concludes
Qualifications:
- Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to help
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable working with the public and other volunteers
- Ability to stand or move around for extended periods (depending on role)
