Caring in Action & United Way CommUnity Rally

Rally with United Way

United Way's CommUnity Rally will be held on September 15 from 4:30 - 7:00 pm outside at the United Way's office location, 2173 Overland Avenue.

CARING IN ACTION projects will occur in conjunction with the Rally on the 15th. They will include

• "Spread the Word," a 211 and Code RED door hanger distribution (9:00 - 11:30 am &
  1:30 - 4:00 pm

• "When They Can't Remember," a chance to help build a dementia-friendly community
  (2:00 - 4:00 pm)

• "In Their Shoes," an opportunity to understand challenges faced by those living in poverty and to make sandwiches for food outreach programs (2:00 - 4:00 pm)

•  "Rally Team" to help before, during and after the Rally.
