Our vision is an inclusive world for all, driven by the power of sport, through which people with intellectual disabilities live active, healthy and fulfilling lives. A worldwide movement, Special Olympics began in the 1950s & 60s when Eunice Kennedy Shriver realized that sports brings communities together and through sports wanted to change the narrative for people with ID.
Special Olympics Montana in the Yellowstone Valley area provides year-round competitive sports and training programming for individuals with intellectual disabilities age 8 and above. We always need local volunteers either to help with local teams or community events in & around Billings.
