Seven times a day, someone in this country dies in a home fire. As part of the Sound the Alarm. Save a Life event, the American Red Cross, has launched a campaign to help save lives. On May 18th and 19th, 2018, in Billings, we need companies and organizations to volunteer to install free smoke alarms. Teams of three will visit homes, install smoke alarms, replace batteries, teach residents how to test and maintain their smoke alarms, help draft an escape plan and document the visit. Ladders and tools will be available, but we encourage volunteers to bring these supplies. After registering, volunteers will receive emails regularly to do online training, receive reminders and other important information.
