Who We Are
Friends of Pompeys Pillar is a nonprofit organization founded in 1989 with a heartfelt mission: to preserve and protect Pompeys Pillar National Monument—home to the last remaining physical inscription from the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
What We Do
Event support: Assisting with races like Rock the Run, movie nights, or educational programs.
Visitor engagement: Welcoming guests, sharing historical insights, or guiding tours.
Outreach and promotion: Distributing flyers, helping with social media, or supporting donor communications.
Site maintenance: Light landscaping, setup/cleanup, or helping with seasonal tasks.
